Myself and my son just went for a trec with an instructor. Brilliant stable. Very good instructor who was knowledgeable and friendly. Took us on a lovely route on trails and road. Would recommend.

I have been at SK for almost a year. My horse has never been happier! In my humble opinion, turnout is one of the most important things for a horses physical and psychological well being. It is very hard to find reliable 365 day a year turn out!!! The schools are well maintained and I have found the staff very supportive. Highly recommend!!!

My daughter and I have been at SK for many years now and I can’t imagine being anywhere else. Having had a tough time with our horses, Sarah has always been on hand to help, guide, advise and give me a friendly kick up the bum when it’s been needed. The yard has gone above and beyond to help us through some really difficult times and it feels like a family. The liveries are all supportive and friendly, whether they have a retired pet, happy hacker or competition horse it really doesn’t matter. There is always someone to hack with, talk to or have a giggle with and that’s before you take into account the facilities. Two fantastic arenas which are never stupidly busy, lovely hacking, a walker and huge stables are all a huge bonus but the icing on the cake is the turnout, plenty of grass, all horses can be out in a field for a full day (or night in summer) and in the years I’ve been here there has probably been 3 occasions we couldn’t turn out thanks to adverse weather which was purely for the horses safety. A fantastic yard and very much my second home.

Having experienced a few livery yards in the years of owning my two boys nothing compares to SK. SK is a Friendly supportive yard whether you’re a child or an adult everyone helps each other out and encourages one other. Whether it’s help loading your naughty pony or helping catch your horse that you’ve been chasing round the field for the last hour or just help raising a jump for you you know there will always be someone to help. When looking for a livery it spoke volumes that multiple liveries have been at the yard for over 10 years with their horses. My two horses are settled and done so from the second they arrived which has not always been the case with our sensitive Welsh. We have now been at the yard for just under two years and it was the best decision we’ve made. We have had a few times when we’ve needed advice and Sarah and her grooms have always been on hand to give suggestions without being over bearing or judgemental how ever silly the question( and I ask a lot) being a inexperienced horse owner this has been invaluable for me and my daughter and I now feel I’m getting the hang of this horse ownership. I could honestly go on all day with the positives but to name a few our horses get all year turn out with summer and winter fields, big spacious airy stables(have asthmatic horses so this helps) and two well maintained schools. I have no affiliation with the yard other then being a livery with my daughter and our two horses.Besides the horses this is our happy place and we have gained friends for life. ❤️❤️

Avoid at all cost! Full of malicious, unprofessional and interfering types. My experience was - a life threatening turnout on day 1 - with a horse kicking out and 'bullying' in a field that was awfully maintained - I managed to avoid injury to myself and horse and was told unequivocally that it was either that turn-out or box confinement. I was also verbally attacked by the owner threatening to steal my tack and needless to say got off the yard within a couple of days - inevitably the yard refused to refund the money for the unused livery days.
